Protecting persons with disabilities during the Covid-19 pandemic

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu government to take immediate measures to provide financial relief to persons with disabilities in the State. The Court also asked the government to file an updated status report with full details about the kind of relief measures they have extended and the classes of persons who have received these benefits.
