What if a Covid-infected person does not have resources to isolate at home?

The Gauhati High Court has said that before directing a person to stay under home isolation, the State government must verify if the family has sufficient rooms and facilities in the house to isolate the infected person. If not, the government must designate places for keeping such people in isolation.
